Hartzell Global Services is a global network of FAA- and EASA-certified MRO facilities providing expert maintenance, repair, and overhaul for propellers, landing gear, wheels, brakes, and engine accessories.
Hartzell Global Services (HGS) is a premier global network of FAA/EASA-certified MRO facilities specializing in propellers, governors, landing gear, wheels & brakes, and engine accessories.
Hartzell Recommended Service Facilities (RSF) are independent propeller MRO providers that are routinely audited by Hartzell to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and maintain the quality standards expected of the Hartzell brand. The RSF network remains active and consists exclusively of independently-owned facilities.
Hartzell Global Services (HGS), by contrast, is a premier network of Hartzell-owned and factory-backed MRO facilities. HGS represents the next level of service and support, offering direct factory resources, expanded capabilities, standardized programs such as flat-rate and guaranteed lead times, and enhanced OEM-level traceability.

The exchange program is simple and effective. When we receive your order, we assemble your propeller using new and overhauled parts from our inventory, then ship or deliver it. When you receive the exchange propeller, simply ship the “core” propeller back to us – or take advantage of our pickup and delivery service. Please note that “Time-Since-New” (TSN) is required for each returned core propeller.
With the Flat-Rate program, you receive a fully inclusive overhaul price selected prior to induction. The quoted amount covers labor and all parts required due to normal wear, delivering complete cost predictability and simplified budgeting.
With the Base-Rate + On-Condition program, you pay a defined base price that covers standard labor, expendables, and factory processes. Any true-on-condition parts identified during inspection are billed separately at a discounted rate, offering a lower upfront cost with variable final pricing.
Time-Between-Overhaul (TBO) is the manufacturer-specified interval (based on flight hours, calendar time, or both) when a propeller or component should undergo a major overhaul. These limits are established through engineering and operational data to ensure continued safety, reliability, and performance. Even if hourly limits are not reached, calendar time may still require overhaul due to potential corrosion, environmental exposure, and internal aging of seals and lubricants.
